Pitched and tempo-shifted tracks get un-warped first
DJs play records faster or slower than released. The rescue passes correct for that before matching, which is where one-shot apps lose most IDs.
Community IDs for what no database knows
Unreleased edits and white labels stay unknown for every fingerprint engine. Other DJs can fill those gaps on public sets, and those answers are kept.
How do I get the tracklist of a SoundCloud mix?
Paste the SoundCloud URL into ryser.id. The mix is downloaded, cut at its transitions and every segment is identified with timestamps. Check the description and timed comments first; if they are empty, this is the fastest route.
Does it work on private or unlisted SoundCloud links?
Public and unlisted (secret link) tracks work. Private tracks that need a login do not; upload the file instead.
How long does a one-hour SoundCloud mix take?
Roughly a quarter of the set length: a 60-minute mix takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and the tracklist fills in while it runs.
What about tracks that are not on Spotify or Shazam?
Unreleased edits and dubplates are marked unknown rather than guessed. On public sets other DJs can name them, and ryser.id remembers the answer for the next set that plays the same record.
